RESTUS 2000 TOUCHSCREEN is a modular point-of-sale software application for the Food & Beverage industry. Developed with the most recent technologies, including Microsoft SQL database, it is an application of extreme easiness of use, but simultaneously of great capacity. It is suitable for restaurants, bars, disco clubs and other related businesses, independently of its dimension. Prove of this are the several awards and certifications won at national and international level.

Articles
- 3 different articles types:
- Simple – articles for unit and simple sale
- Dynamic – simple articles that are choose from the selecction of several options, for example, the selection of the type of base and size, it’s selected na pizza article
- Menus – articles that are composed by several other articles
- Price table definition per article, per currency. In each currency can be defined 5 prices with inclusive and exclude of taxes
- Definition per article of prices for “hold” and “extra”, respectively when article is taken out of the composition of another article or when its added (ex: pizza components)
- Modifiers definition per article (ex: well done, rare, etc.). This means that in operation mode, it’s not possible to sell a steak “with ice”

Discounts/Promotions
- Definition of maximum discounts that can be made per article/family/employee
- Definition of discounts/promotions to apply automatically in a pre-defined season, hour (happy-hour), week, day of week
- Discounts can be made by change of price type, on the buying of “x” pays “y” or percentage

Employees
- Definition of access to every option on the application
- Commissions are calculated based of each one sales or sales from other employees
- Definition of tables that a employee can use, per service zone
- Individual permissions can establish who can access tables opened by other employee, transfer part or the total to another table, cancel orders, etc.

Module designed with very important requirements:
- To be of fast learning due to normal rotation of employees in this area (because of this it was used graphical icons and colours to get a faster reaction of the visual memory)
- To be fast to use - any operation will have to take the lesser possible time and to require the minimum of possible clicks
- To be easy to use - any operation should be easily done
- To be of extreme robustness - the operation of point-of-sale can never be unavailable.
Because of this reasons this was used Microsoft DirectX technology for developing a module that is truly unique at the level of the applications of this area.

Different service modes - General characteristics
- Functioning through touch screen or keyboard
- Great speed in the operations of ordering articles and print account
- Possibility to work in way of fast food, restaurant, tables, attendance to the balcony or compound, refectory or delivery
- Buttons configurable (size, icons, colours and images)
- Can work with the drawing of the room (the user can draw it’s own room), and/or the same time can function directly with the table number
- Questions can be programmed to formulate questions to the user in order to foment consume or formatting the type of attendance (former: to indicate that for € 0,50 it will be able to acquire a size of superior drink)
- Articles composed by other articles can be sold, allowing the use of a firm price or in case of menu alteration the automatic alteration of the price having in account:
- the average a of the prices of the articles that compose the menu; - the price of the article more expensive that composes the menu; - the sum of the prices of the articles that compose the new menu.
- For each article is possible to define that the introduction of modifiers is mandatory (for example, to indicate which the temperature where a steak must be made)
- Parameterization of the work environment for terminal and for used
- Possibility to create pages of article buttons per families or per top of most used articles
- Parameterization of screen savers with advertising (enables the partnerships of advertising with suppliers)
- Use of magnetic stripe cards or other cards for identification of users or customers
- Possibility of close a table count with distinct payment types
- By configuration it«s possible to register reasons behind orders cancellation
- Possibility to print articles in preparation centres according to the order of families priority, for example, to print the entrances, followed of the foods and only after desserts, independently of the order which was launched on the point-of-sale
- Every order can be printed in one or more preparation centres, in one or more copies
- The name of the articles to print in the preparation centres can be different of the name to display in the customer account
- A configuration enables the point-of-sale to automaticly send an order that was initiated by a user but not to finished. The application will send order automatically at the end of a predefined time
- Sale document/invoice can be detailed, summarized or grouped indicating for example "n meals"
- All point-of-sale reports can be viewed on the printer or screen

Restaurante/Tables
- On-line table status display (busy, free, with request of the account, etc.)
- Possibility of definition of the maximum time that the tables can be without intervention of the employees, thus, in case that it does not have movement in the table in that time, in the screen of status of the tables, the table in question is enhanced in order to call the attention the employee
- The orders can be printed in different printers in accordance with the employee, the table and the service zone
- Possibility to make partial and total transferences of tables and payments
- Possibility to transfer the total or part of the open tables of an employed to other (s), without need of closing the tables
- Capacity of using the concept sub-table means that’s the system is able, for example, to associate each person as being a separate table
- Printer’s assignments can be redirected anytime, for any type of reason, as the volume of service, for reason of damages of the printer, etc.
- Possibility to define the names of the articles in different languages and thus to print the accounts/invoices in the language of the customer who is in the table

- Cards of consumption can be of the type daily pay-bought (and reload able) or credit (when reaching a predined amount of credit, the customer will have that to pay to be able to continue to consume)
- Possibility to associate different discouns to different service zones, for example, in a club with 3 environments, it can be defined that in each one of the environments one determined customer has different discounts
- It’s possible to configure terminals that only function as “check-out’s”, thus, always when a card is read, the application enters automatically in the payment option

- Search of customers is made by telephone number, but it’s possible to associate a telephone number to several customers or a customer to several telephone numbers

- Possibility of emission of simple order for delivery or in daily pre-payment, with respective calculation of changes
- Attribution to each one of the deliverers of which orders to deliver
- Possibility to consult in anytime the status of the order (in preparation, delivery, already delivered, etc.)

- In the point-of-sale, when a customer is used, it’s displayed his previous orders of the day, which enables, in case of necessity, its fast modification

- Use of all the type of items - articles, holds, extras, menus, etc. (it depends on the model of the command)

Cards and customer current-accounts
This module allow the management of customers, as well as the use of loyalty cards, magnetic or others, that can in such a way be used as the customer identification in the sales operations, as to deduct the consumptions in "chargeable cards" in the account. For example, a customer who consumes daily but that makes weekly or monthly payments; or customer who charges its card with 50 Euros and that goes consuming until finishing his balance, being able to recharge the card again.

| PMS – Interface with hotel management applications
Enables the interconnection with hotel management applications (Proprietary Management Systems) in order to allow the insertion of the consumptions in the respective accounts of the rooms. Interconnection with any hotel application is made through the creation of drivers (needs documentation on the application).
